What BetaList is#

BetaList is a directory where early adopters discover upcoming and recently launched internet startups, and where founders share their startup to get early user feedback, as its support page puts it. Accepted startups are featured on a timeline, and some also appear in its newsletter.

Who it suits#

It suits founders of pre-launch or recently launched startups who want early adopters and feedback. BetaList looks for a clear value proposition, good design and an idea it has not seen before. Your product needs its own domain: free hosting subdomains such as vercel.app and direct app store links are not accepted. If you are still gathering interest, read how to build a waitlist before launch.

How to submit#

  1. Create an account using the sign up button on the homepage.
  2. Read the submission guidelines, then fill in the submission form.
  3. Choose a plan at the end of the form and complete checkout.
  4. Wait for the editorial team's decision, which arrives by email.
  5. Check progress from your dashboard while signed in to the same account.
  • Cost: Paid, and there is no free submission option (support page). Exact price: Not confirmed. Plans and prices only appear at the end of the signed-in form. If your startup is not selected, the payment is refunded in full.
  • Link type: dofollow. On a sampled listing checked on 2026-10-18, the Visit Site button had no rel attribute and pointed to an internal BetaList redirect. Image and logo links on that page, to the same redirect, carry nofollow.
  • Review time: Not confirmed. The support page says it depends on the plan you pay for.

The catch#

BetaList generally features each startup only once. The one exception is a startup featured as pre-launch, which can be featured again when it launches. It also does not give specific feedback when a submission is turned down, so timing your entry and polishing your landing page first matters. For a side by side view, see Product Hunt vs BetaList.
