AI Tool Directories: 11 Places to Submit Your AI Product (2026)

Where to submit an AI tool in 2026, with the free lane, price, review time and link rules checked on each directory's own submit page today.

Editorial title card reading "AI Tool Directories: 11 Places to Submit Your AI Product (2026)" beside the orange ZeroRaised mark.

Key takeaways

  • Free AI-specific lanes are rare: Future Tools takes free submissions, AI Agents Directory has a $0 tier that requires a badge backlink, and There's An AI For That picks one free tool from a monthly X thread.
  • Most AI directories now charge one-time fees, from $19 at AI Agents Directory to $437 for the top There's An AI For That package, while OpenTools sells a listing subscription.
  • DevHunt, mcp.so and Smithery suit AI developer tools and MCP servers better than general AI directories.
  • Uneed declines generic AI wrappers and Future Tools rejects waitlist-only products and custom GPTs, so ship something usable before you submit.
  • Futurepedia, Toolify, TopAI.tools, Easy With AI, AIxploria and Insidr are left out because their submit terms could not be loaded or read on 1 Nov 2026.

The AI tool directories worth submitting to in 2026 are There's An AI For That, Future Tools, OpenTools and AI Agents Directory for AI products in general, then DevHunt, mcp.so and Smithery for developer tools and MCP servers, and Product Hunt, Uneed and SaaSHub as broader launch sites that suit AI products. Only Future Tools offers a plainly free, no-account submission among the AI-specific directories. The rest charge one-time fees or a subscription, or give you a free lane with conditions (Future Tools submit page and There's An AI For That launch page, checked 1 Nov 2026).

Disclosure: ZeroRaised publishes this guide and appears in one clearly labelled row as a publisher-owned option. No claim is made about its traffic, audience or launch results.

This guide is about AI-specific directories. For general startup directories, use the free startup directories guide. For the mechanics of filling in forms well, see how to submit your startup to directories.

  • Skip for now: six well-known AI directories whose terms could not be read today, listed at the end.

AI-specific directories#

1. There's An AI For That#

There's An AI For That accepts "AI tools, MCPs, GPTs and AI influencers (non-human)". Every submission is manually reviewed, and the page gives average processing time as 1 to 2 days (launch page, checked 1 Nov 2026).

The "Low traffic" option is a $49 one-time review fee with a permanent listing. The top package is $437 one-time and adds a newsletter placement and priority review; a custom plan is on request. The page promises a full refund if your tool is not published (launch page, checked 1 Nov 2026).

The free lane is a monthly X thread from which one indie tool is picked, so treat it as a lottery. Before paying, note that the bundled PPC bonus requires your tool "must not appear on any other platform before the launch".

2. Future Tools#

Future Tools is the clearest free AI directory on this list. The form asks for the tool name, URL, short description, category, pricing model and your email, with no account, and says "Matt will review it" (submit page, checked 1 Nov 2026).

Expect silence: you will likely not hear back, and over 75% of submitted tools are not approved. If not listed within a week you may resubmit; resubmitting sooner "will almost guarantee" rejection (FAQ, checked 1 Nov 2026).

It rejects concepts already listed many times, low-effort sites, waitlist-only products, custom GPTs, aggregators and direct links to chat bots. A featured listing (two slots a week) is priced by email only (FAQ and advertise page, checked 1 Nov 2026).

3. OpenTools#

OpenTools has no free lane. Its launch page says "Tool submissions require a paid listing subscription" and that you sign in before checkout. The package includes a listing, four days on the homepage, and launch posts on its X and LinkedIn accounts (tool launch page, checked 1 Nov 2026).

No price is shown before sign-in. The MCP listing page describes "an annual listing subscription" that "renews annually until cancelled" and says traffic is not guaranteed (MCP launch page, checked 1 Nov 2026).

4. AI Agents Directory#

AI Agents Directory is for AI agents. Its Free tier ("$0/forever") requires placing its badge with a backlink and gives a nofollow link. Fast Track at $19 one-time skips review and the badge but stays nofollow. Starter ($49) and Growth ($99, shown discounted from $149) state a dofollow link, and a $499 partner tier is limited to six spots (pricing, checked 1 Nov 2026). No review time is published. Read how to get backlinks for a new startup for why one nofollow listing is worth little on its own.

Directories for AI developer tools and MCP servers#

5. DevHunt#

DevHunt takes developer tools, and its FAQ names "AI agents and MCP servers" as accepted. Tools not for developers, NSFW tools and fake-engagement services are rejected. Listing is free with a permanent page and a nofollow link. A launch costs $19 once, lets you pick the week and makes the link dofollow; a boosted launch is $49 (DevHunt FAQ, checked 1 Nov 2026).

If your AI product is an SDK, coding agent, eval tool or API, DevHunt is a better fit than a consumer AI directory. See DevHunt vs Product Hunt for the trade-offs.

6. mcp.so#

mcp.so accepts MCP servers, remote servers, MCP clients and AI products, starting from a repository URL. The only option shown on the submit page is a $39 one-time paid submission that publishes immediately without review, with a verified badge, featured placement and a dofollow link (submit page, checked 1 Nov 2026).

The homepage FAQ says listings appear "after review", and the submit page mentions premium submissions getting "faster review", implying a non-premium path. Its price and terms are not stated, so do not assume it is free (mcp.so, checked 1 Nov 2026).

7. Smithery#

Smithery is a publishing flow more than a submission. Hosted servers need a public HTTPS URL, Streamable HTTP transport and OAuth if auth is required; local stdio servers publish an .mcpb bundle. Public servers are scanned automatically (publish docs, checked 1 Nov 2026).

The docs do not state any Smithery fee or link attribute. If you are building one, how to build an MCP server and how to monetise an MCP server cover what to have ready first.

PulseMCP: paused#

PulseMCP's submit page says submissions and changes are "temporarily paused" with no reopening date, and suggests publishing to the Official MCP Registry, which it says it will pick up automatically when it reopens (PulseMCP submit, last updated 3 Sep 2026, checked 1 Nov 2026).

Launch sites that suit AI products#

8. Product Hunt#

Product Hunt says it is "100% free to use". You need a personal account, because company accounts are prohibited, and new accounts must finish onboarding before posting. Launches go up at 12:01 AM PST (launch page and posting guide, checked 1 Nov 2026).

The product must be new, usable and of unique value; "closed beta launches are usually not a good fit", and paying for hunters or upvotes is banned (how Product Hunt works, checked 1 Nov 2026). Our AI app launch guide covers sequencing.

9. Uneed#

Uneed has a free waiting line where a date is assigned automatically, at most five months out, with one product in the line at a time. Fast-track is $14.99 for a slot in about two weeks, and Skip the Waiting Line is $39.99 to pick any available date. A free launch needs a launch-day score of 10 to stay published and 20 to keep its dofollow link (submission guide, checked 1 Nov 2026). Note that Skip the Waiting Line was $29.99 when this blog checked it on 17 Oct 2026.

Uneed's acceptance page is the most explicit about AI: it accepts "AI products with a clear use case" and declines "generic AI wrappers", described as a thin layer on top of ChatGPT or another LLM (what we accept, checked 1 Nov 2026). Compare it with Product Hunt in Uneed vs Product Hunt.

10. SaaSHub#

SaaSHub reviews every free submission. Without listed competitors a submission goes to the bottom of the queue, and verifying with an email on your domain raises priority. It rejects unreleased products, waiting-list pages, free subdomains and non-English products (submit page, checked 1 Nov 2026). A featured listing costs $99 a month with no contract (featured products, checked 1 Nov 2026).

11. ZeroRaised (publisher-owned)#

ZeroRaised is the publisher of this guide. It is a free launch directory for bootstrapped products, AI or otherwise. Submission is free and reviewed. A product is ineligible if it has ever received institutional venture capital or accelerator equity (funding policy). Bootstrapped AI products already listed include Photo AI, Chatbase and PDF.ai. No traffic or results claim is made.

AI directories we could not verify today#

These appear on most "submit AI tool" lists, but we could not confirm their current terms on 1 Nov 2026, so they are not in the table:

  • Futurepedia: the /submit-tool page returned 404. Its terms of service say listings are a one-time fee shown at purchase, it accepts AI tools only, rejects other directories and newsletters, and is operated by HubSpot under the Futurepedia brand. No current price could be confirmed.
  • Toolify and TopAI.tools: submit pages returned 403.
  • Easy With AI: the homepage and submit page returned 403.
  • AIxploria and Insidr: submit pages loaded without any readable form, price or terms.
  • AI Tool Hunt: the domain redirected to an unrelated site. Do not submit there.

How to choose an AI tool directory#

  1. Match the audience. Consumer AI apps fit There's An AI For That, Future Tools and OpenTools; agents fit AI Agents Directory; SDKs, APIs and MCP servers fit DevHunt, mcp.so and Smithery.
  2. Ship before you submit. Waitlists, closed betas and thin wrappers are rejected or discouraged across this list.
  3. Start with the free lanes. Future Tools, Product Hunt, DevHunt, Uneed and SaaSHub cost nothing but time.
  4. Pay for one directory, not ten, and prefer clear refund terms.
  5. Do not buy for the link alone. Domain ratings quoted by directories are self-reported, and link attributes vary by tier.
  6. Track renewals. OpenTools is a subscription and SaaSHub featured is monthly.

Where ZeroRaised fits#

ZeroRaised is not AI-only. It is a free launch board for products that never took institutional VC or accelerator equity, including AI tools funded by customers or savings. If yours qualifies under the funding policy, submit it here. For more platforms see the launch sites index and Product Hunt alternatives for bootstrapped makers.

Where can I submit my AI tool for free?

Future Tools accepts free submissions through a form with no account. Product Hunt is free to post. DevHunt gives developer tools a free nofollow listing, Uneed has a free waiting line, and SaaSHub reviews free submissions. AI Agents Directory has a $0 tier that requires a badge backlink.

How much does it cost to list on There's An AI For That?

Its launch page lists a $49 one-time review fee and a $437 one-time package, plus a custom plan on request. It also runs a monthly X thread where it picks one indie tool to list free (checked 1 Nov 2026).

Which AI directories give a dofollow backlink?

Among the cited pages, DevHunt paid launches, mcp.so paid submissions, AI Agents Directory Starter and Growth tiers, and Uneed launches that meet its score thresholds state dofollow links. Free DevHunt and AI Agents Directory listings are nofollow.

Where should I submit an MCP server?

Use mcp.so, Smithery's publishing flow and DevHunt, which accepts MCP servers. PulseMCP paused new submissions and suggests publishing to the Official MCP Registry instead.
